# Important tips about the house and the urbanisation

## Driving in the Urbanisation
While driving through the urbanisation, please drive slow and carefully, there are plenty of kids all around during summer.  
You never know from where they will come, and there are a lot of bushes which could hide them.  
People in the "urba" is always aware of this and looking for people not driving safely :-P  

## Blinds on the house
Please keep the top floor BIGGER blinds down all the time except when you're there of course xD  
The 2 main reasons are:  
  * Heat  
  * They leak water to the inside when is raining, you'll see some marks on the wall because of this :-(  

## The coffee maker
When filling the water desposit and putting it back into the machine, you have to push firmly or it will leak water when doing coffee.  

## General Electrical Circuit breaker
Its hidden in the pantry under the ladder near to the kitchen, I will show you.  
You need to know this just in case the electricty goes off (Normally this only happen in winter because of high usage of electricity).  
We face this 2 or 3 times at year at most...  

## TV
the house does not have TV xD  

## Garbage
The garbage containers are located outside the urbanisation [here](https://maps.app.goo.gl/98dEj3GPkEYmSeLj7).  
Take a lot of care, lately there are a lot of WISP there!!!! This weekend one bites me :-(  

## Conditioned air
I'll tell you how to manage...   
or just where the remote controller is located xD they are easy to manage :-P  

## BBQ (barbecue)
BBQ is forbidden in the urbanisation along with all the Montseny Natural park.  
Please don't start a fire of any kind outside the house (and considering the high temperatures, I'm sure you don't want to use the fireplace xD).  
If you want to do a BBQ, there is a place: [El Pol](http://www.elpol.cat/), [map plink](https://maps.app.goo.gl/fUWvT9p7Rbixv4eZ6).  
Its a private place, so you have to pay to enter. There are usually a lot of people, so I recommend you to reserve or skip it (that will be my case, I had never gone there :-P).  

## Mosquitoes
Here in spain there is a "new" race of mosquitoes coming from Africa, maybe you know them, the "tiger mosquito" [link](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aedes_albopictus).  
Also we have standard/spaniards mosquitos.  
The problem is that the tiger bite you from 3 to 7 times and if your body has not built up resistance to the poison, it could be very anoying.  
I recommend that you bring mosquito repellent. Tell me if you need recommendations.  

## Big front door
The big front door is a sliding door and is not working propertly, the rails are broken or almost broken, so is difficult to open/close it.  
I will show you. You will develop muscles LOL.

# Where to buy food
And other stuff   

## supermarket bonpreu
Arbucies.  
Easy to park, is the biggest in many kilometres.  
Meat is not good in the Bonpreu supermarket (any of them).

## bonarea
Breda  
Little supermarket from a big "chain", they have their own brands made from local farmers (in Lleida province).  
Cheap.

Its the only one that bring the order to the house if you make the order through the web. The web has everything you need, it's a very important one here in Catalonia (they contacted me to work with them but the offices are on Lleida and there's no good wfh schedule...)   

## bread in Pa de la Sara

100% handmade Bread and traditional dessert's.  
You must to buy "Coca". And you'll never buy enough 🤣🤣🤣

## fruit and vegetables
Sunday morning in Breda (also Saturday in Riells) there is a traditional market on the street where local farmers sell fruit and vegetables.  
If you want to go, I'll tell you the good one. Also I'll tell them you are going because of my recommendation.  
I'm sure you will remember their tomatoes.

## Selva Aventura
In the Forest 😛 only if you don't have fear of being high in the trees.

## La Roca Village

This is not a attraction like the others, I'm writing it here because for you wife, this will be an attraction 🤣😛 (just kidding)  
Prepare your credit card 💥💥💥  
This a outlet center, there are "hundred" of stores inside.  
Here you'll find luxury clothing brands but also sports brands (nike, Reebok...). I go there to buy high quality clothes for the mountain (Columbia).  
Everything is 100% real, no fakes/counterfeit.  
Go early in the morning to bed able to park your car, personal recommendation.  
Also i commit you to open an account via web, you'll get additional discounts.  
You'll spend all day here...... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 there are a couple of restaurants of course.

# places to visit
## L'Escala
For me, the most beautiful village of "La Costa Brava"

## Cadaques and the cap de creus

Cap de Creus is a national park, highly protected area.  
Beaches are awesome.  
And the heat is also awesome, knee of the places with highest temperatures you can find.  
Cadaques is beautiful of course.

## Vic
Where I'm currently living.  
It has a nice old town, its plenty of stores, restaurants and "live" in general.  
Also famous because of the meat (there are a lot of farms all around), the cold in winter and the heat in summer 🤣🤣🤣  
Tell me if you come here.  
Its a good option if you want to buy meat, fruit/veggies and goods for all your stay.  

## villages on the costa brava
There are a lot of very beautiful village all across the coast.  
They will be VERY crowd on those days.  

## hiking trips
This is difficult because I'm a freak of mountains and nature and there are a big amount of places 🤣  

### Agudes peak

For me is "must", I went running from the house. I don't recommend you to do that xD there are ~24km go and back, so I suggest you to take the car and follow [this](https://maps.app.goo.gl/b8bQbivmr7B3cugT7) route to go near.  
Then use [this route](https://www.alltrails.com/explore/map/map-july-24-2024-e8542a0?u=m&sh=zi3lyo) to go to the top and back.  
And comeback by car using [this](https://maps.app.goo.gl/G7qte4VznoF5ssx46) route.  

The reason is that the comeback route is AWESOME by car. You'll get stunning views while going down from the mountain.  
Don't do this trip on a weekend, it will be VERY DANGEROUS because the amount of motorcycles going up and down the mountain, they are fuc**ing crazy...  

Please tellme if you do this route and I'll give you additional tips.
